I have the rome TW installed with 1.3 and 1.5 and after the installation of spqr i only hear the music the screen of my monitor is black i need help plz!

PD: I have the spanish version is there any extra requeriment?

hmm thats weird. but i think Lt will post you a solution very soon. good luck with it(i had a hard time installing it to but once you have it working you'll see it was wourth the effort)

i think the spanish version may be the issue.....

do you understand enough english to play the game in english?

It sounds like a Video card issue and I have heard of it before years ago,. are you using Vista? If you hear the music it means the mod is installed. Try downloading NEW drivers for your Video card and see if that works if not post again.

No my sistem is XP my video card is geforce 6200 and i don´t know my game has an spanish installer but in game its all in english i don´t know what will be the issue but this is not the only mod that has problem i started to think if the monitor rez is the problem 60 hz and 1024 max res is my monitor very old

You need to look at new drivers a 6200 is not that great and drivers being updated as a good idea. try that. And get a new monitor if you can.

updated drivers reinstalled but it stills the same problem. Can anyone give me a config to play in 1024x768 or 800x600 (x32 both) i will thank a lot because i really want to play this mod

Go into your preferences.txt file and change these lines to your resolution, sounds like its your monitor.


STRATEGY_RESOLUTION:1280x1024

BATTLE_RESOLUTION:1280x1024
