Bug when I click on start-up icon

Well, when I click on the icon to start, I see the MS-Dos box appear for not even a second and disappear, then, nothing happens... no fatal error, NOTHING.

I installed patch 1.03 for Vanilla (I had 1.02.001), then installed BC, then I got all the quickfixes and the 1.05 version (for BC), and also the Vista bug even though I don't have Vista (a guy said it worked for him even though he didn't have Vista... so I tried) and it still does the same thing... anyone can help? I REALLY wanna play Broken Crescent... soooo bad... anyways, thx in advance.

Hmmmm don't know what to say.... the quickfixes are already part of 1.05.

Have you tried a clean re-install+1.2 (leave 1.3) then BC?

It's ok now, I fixed it, the thing is that when I extracted the files in the MII folder, I created a folder for the mod itself in the MII one, so I took everything out and directly in the MII folder and it worked!

Sorry for my mistake, thx anyways.

Also... is there any way of recruiting generals in BC? Or do you know a mini-mod that makes it happen? thx

i have the same problem, but i can't fix it. Can you explain me how you did it. When you install which folder you choose?

his unpacker created double BC folder, so that run executable could not find the file.
Make sure that unpacker installs game in Broken_crescent folder, where all other game folders should be.

Actually, I'm the one who created another folder...

And Illusion_PJ, just unpack (extract) the mod in your M2TW Folder, no need to create a file for it, it'll do it automatically.

I guess this thread can be closed...
