All text gone...
Okay, I have a problem...
I've started creating a mod for the Britannia campaign of Kingdoms, and i have a problem. I am sure it's been asked about before, but i don't want to spend hours looking for it.
I unpacked the files (I backed up original Britannia folder), then renamed the folder name and created a shortcut. I deleted the two Descr_geography files, and when i booted the game and started a campaign, all the text was gone. Some was there, like Settlement names, and icons were there too, and unit names. But nothing else. The menu text was gone, and everything. If need be i can get a screenshot, but could someone please tell me what went wrong???
Thanks in advance,
~DV

Re: All text gone...
Is your main game still packed? If so...
You can fix this if there is an unpacked copy of the Text folder in the main MTW2 Data folder.
You can simply unpack your main game or put these folders into a packed version (although you will need to unpack the main game to get them!).
EDIT: There are text files missing from britannia that are in the main data folder. You can also add these to your mod folder to fix the problem.

But what if i then want to edit them???
I'm gonna try The Bruce's method, so i'll have to unpack main game. I did copy all the ones in britannia file, so i didn't realise there were some missing.
Alrite. It worked. Thanks for the help
