How effective, if at all, has CA been in the past at patching bad AI? I mean I thought the AI in the demo definitely had its moments, especially against me in the first sea battle. It also completely changed from one battle to the next for one of the land battles.

Well, I've only been playing since M2 so I can't really say, but from what I gather from these forums it's not been that great.

Well I agree the AI certainly did different things during the land and sea battles, but I would not say it did anything better.

I'd like to hear about what difficulty the reviewers are playing on. I remember in another game (Gal Civ II I think), the computer would break the 4th wall and tell say things like "If I weren't on easy right now... " or "I see what you are doing there, but I can't do anything about it" if you were playing on easy. A cute little reminder that you had not outsmarted the AI, you were just playing on easy.

Im waiting for the Good Game review on Monday night. I think they give games pretty fair reviews and its good to be able to see a review with gameplay snips and actual reviewers on a 102 cm screen
