Trouble Running the Imperial Campaign

I am not able to play any faction on the Imperial Camapign section. Every time a choose a faction and click start the game holds for a second and brings me back to the previous screen where i can choose imperial or provincal campaign. I am able to place all the factions in the provincal campaign with not problem but i am unable to access the Imperial campaign. Has any one else had this problem? How can i get the imperial campaign to run? Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Did you get any warnings when you installed XGM?

You might have the wrong version of RTW. Your version number is shown in the top right corner of the options screen. It should be 1.5 if you just have RTW, 1.6 if you have BI, or 1.9 if you have Alexander. If you have a lower version number you need to patch your game.

It's also possible that another mod has messed up your original game files. In that case you will have to re-install and re-patch.

I did not recieve any warnings during the instillation of the Mod. I have RTW and BI then I patched it to 1.6

Yes the version is 1.5 for RTW and BI is 1.6. I had just installed a fresh copy of RTW and BI

Reinstalling XGM (just run the download installer again, it'll delete the old stuff on its own) is always a surefire way to fix problems. If that doesn't work, than something is wrong...
