I actually think that the dissolution of Israel and the instatement of a secular State (probably also called Israel or Israel-Palestine or whatever), without any institutional ties to either religion, would be the perfect solution in a perfect world.

However, since we do not live in a perfect world... A 2 state solution is more viable.

Who was in charge of the UN when they did this shiz? I'm gonna punch em in the face. That said, now that a ton of people moved there that aren't the original s, Israel is legitimate. That said, the Palestinian's are getting on by pretty much everyone and for that reason Israel needs to stfu and succeed from itself. After getting sacked by itself, the UN would take over and administer the region and use the nukes taken from Israel to threaten the world.

You see it everywhere, this ethnic and religious and whatever hatred. I don't think it was that bad in the past. In some places, sure, but in many others...no. Take Salonika. There's a book by Mark Mazower about it. A bunch of Slavs, Greeks, Turks, Muslims, Jews, Christians, all chillaxing together with no major problems. Free Palestine from the corrupt Israeli government. God knows how to do it though. Two state solution might work, or help. I'm not so naive to think that the two factions could coexist in one government, at least not in the foreseeable future.

I think one nation is the only way to do it. If you try to split it, then each side will start bickering that they should have this or that region and not the other guys. Then their governments will build bigger armies and fight over Jerusalem.

2 state solution, try the best to live in peace maybe even create a mutually beneficial economy to prevent conflict and war. Overtime with a Palestinian state I do believe that tensions will and extremists from both sides will wane.

and I say 2 state solution like this.

State of Palestine

• West Bank [inc. Settlements]
• East Jerusalem
• Gaza [once Hamas are all hanged for treason, rape and murder]
• Secularism.
• All residents whether Arab, Jewish, Christian, Druze are all equal and Palestinian, as they were before.

Additional Conditions.

• UN Observer force to protect Jewish settlements, Holy sites and separate Israel and Palestine at East Jerusalem. [to avoid conflict and problems]
• Free trade agreement. [to continue the economic practises as before]
• Freedom of movement agreement. [So citizens can work in either country, and Jews can still cross into Palestine Jerusalem to visit the wall whenever they like. Transnational railway to be built]
• Compensation by Israel for all Palestinian tax collected.
• Cancellation of Israeli/Palestinian debt as gift.
• Constitutional amendments declaring the IDF and PDF cannot legally invade the other. [doing so will be breaking the constitution allowing legal proceedings]
• Full recognition of Israel by all Arab/Muslim nations.
• Yearly peace sustaining meeting between them.
• All Palestinian militias to hand in weapons and disband.
• Formal apologies made to each others peoples for decades of fighting.

Israel should remain as it is, and all Palestianians should get USA green cards so they can move there never to return.

I'd prefer a 2-state plan, with the West Bank and East Jerusalem going to the new (and secular) Palestinian state but the holy sites (Church of the Holy Sepulchre, Dome of the Rock and Temple Mount) open to everybody.

Yeah def. two state solution. Palestinians in Israel will never be treated as equals, despite the best efforts of moderate Israelis.

I really don't think meaningful progress on this issue can be made until Palestinians have their own state, with pre-1967 borders.

God bless them. The hardest thing a man can do is something which is the right thing to do, but seen as unpopular or 'taboo' by their fellow people. The Palestinians on the other side need to take the example of the moderate and fair freedom loving Israelis.
