This mod is impossible to play!

Financial crisis? I normally only play as the Connaghta, and their low population is a greater challenge than any financial crisis. Try making money when you don't have many taxpayers and you don't have a large enough army to make money through conquest.

Connacht (and probably other Irish factions) seems to be in a radically different situation. I played my first campaign as them, and didn't have much financial problems either; I personally find aggressive "rebels" even more problematic than underpopulation, btw. But when I used the same approach in my second campaign (Dyfneint), I started losing huge amounts of money (+20k to -20k in 2 turns ), and I needed considerably more time to get enough cash to actually spend it on something; with Connacht, I was able to spam troops like crazy after four or five turns. So there is apparently a huge difference.

Btw, I'm planning to start another campaign, this time an "ultimate challenge" Any thoughts on what would be the most difficult faction to play with? I can't make up my mind 'tween Elmet, Alcluyd and Saxons :hmmm:

I believe the hardest difficulty setting with this mod like any other based on the RTW engine is H(campaign) and VH (battlemap). Unless the scripting in this game has overridden the problem the AI on VH does not get the bonus it should do (I've often heard mention that the AI gets 10K per turn on H).

So VH/VH is easier than H/VH.

If anyone knows different - please enlighten me!
