strange (rebel diplomacy)
i was just playing on my julii campain and the wierdist thing happened .A rebel diplomat came up to one of my cities in spain and asked for a ceasfire?????????????????????????????????????????. i have never in my 3 years of playing rome total war seen a rebel diplomat. and i was wondering has anyone else had this happen to them

When a faction is killed and it has diplomats in the field, it might leave some of them behind. Rebel cities don't produce diplomats.

I think Selifator is right. The rebel cities cant build diplomats, but im pretty sure i have seen diplomats change into rebels after i destroy their faction. I didnt know that u could get a ceasefire from them though.

yeah i see how they could become reble but i acsepted the ceasefire that they offered me and i wasnt eniemes with them any more????????????????????????????????????????????????????? i thought that couldnt happen without moding

Yeh, but they didnt ask for a ceasefire! I remember when i completely got rid of the rebels so that any new rebel settlement was their capital, but that's still weird!

this happens with me all the time. they are left over diplomats from dead factions
