SS 6.1 Late World War Hotseat Campaign with Basileia ton Romaion 6.1 Units!
(1.4 Kingdoms, 6.1 Stainless Steel. Submod = Basileia ton Romaion 6.1)

    Catholic:
The Catholic nations are numerous and modest in strength, controlling much of the Western hemisphere of the Known world.
They answer to the Pope who guides them in religious affairs. The could prove the most powerful of faiths, But can they stop their internal wars long enough to rival the new religions of the East?

Holy Roman Empire + Teutonic Knight Order (Mr.Roboto92) Quote Needed:

    France + Scotland
    (St. Ives) Quote Needed:

    Portugal + Poland
    (Wahrane) Quote Needed:

    England + Norway
    (Nightbringer)
    Quote Needed:

    Venice + Kingdom of Jerusalem
    (Algae) Quote Needed:

    Sicily + Hungary
    (Mudkip)
    Quote Needed:

    Aragon + Denmark
    (Pivra)
Being the southernmost Scandinavian country and having a common border with Christian Germany as well, Denmark fell much earlier than for instance Norway or Sweden under Christian cultural influence. Assuaged by the country’s topography Denmark thus developed a central authority long before the other Nordic countries, the Danish kingship being traceable to even before 800. The Christianization of Denmark started equally early, in about 900, and the first three Scandinavian bishoprics were instuted some time before 950 by Harald Bluetooth, the first baptized Danish king. Even though king Harold acknowledged the German emperor’s suzerainity by conquering the south of Norway he still transformed Denmark into the foremost power in the north. Before the turn of the millennium Harald’s son and successor Sweyn Forkbeard extended the Danish power even more when he brought England into his political focus, which at that time had been settled by many Danes and other Norsemen. In several military campaigns Sweyn thoroughly sacked England before finally ousting the native Anglosaxon king and gaining control over all of England. A coronation was already planned and being prepared but never took place as Sweyn Forkbeard dieded suddenly and unexpectedly.

    Aragon
With the Arabian conquest of the Iberian peninsula the core areas of what was later to become the kingdom of Aragon, the southern foothills and slopes of the central Pyrenees, fell for almost a century under loose Muslim control. When the Carolingians started their counteroffensive against the Muslims and pushed south of the Pyrenees, this region came under Frankish dominion soon after the year 800. Thus was created the county of Aragon, which due to internal strife in the Frankish Empire was soon forgotten by its Frankish masters north of the Pyrenees and became mostly independent. In about 925 the county of Aragon came by marriage into the possession of the kings of Navarre, a tiny Basque realm to the west of Aragon, which in its trackless mountains had been able to keep its independence from the Muslim conquerors. For more than a century all kings of Navarre were now also counts of Aragon, the last among them Sancho the Great, who ruled Castille as well.
    Castile + Genoa
    (madrileno) Quote Needed:

    Islam:
The newest of the Religions, they have risen from the East like a scourge building in strength. They follow the faith of Mohammad and are very powerful, But can they overcome the power of the Pope and his dreaded crusades?

    Seljurks - Kwarezemian
    (Osamah) Quote Needed:

    Egypt - Moors
    (Edvard0) Quote Needed:

    Orthodox:
The Orthodox, followers of similar faith to the Catholic's but denounce the Pope and choose to follow in their own way. Their culture is old and built upon tradition, Their pride and joy is the remnants of the Old Eastern Roman Empire, and have survived the test of time. But now as the gate keepers from Catholic and Muslim influences, can they withstand and overcome the coming changes?

    Byzantine Empire + Novgorod
    (Merlox)
As the gateway of the Islam and Catholic faiths, having the best trade spot in the current world, and also being the empire that has lived through out time itself, The Eastern Roman Empire is only a mere shadow of what it once was, Though. Who knows if it has enough power to raise up once again?

The Novgorod people have pride in their nation, As it is one of the key trade in the Baltic Region. Jealously guarding it's trade, The Novgorod people are ready for war if it means guarding their trade.
    Pagan:
The oldest of the religions, once proud a strong culture has been reduced considerably as they have been pushed to the East, however the potential to expand is very real and the Pagans still have some fight to them yet, but can they reclaim their former Glory?

    Cuman Empire - Lithuania
    (Antiac) Quote Needed:

    The Unknown:
    The Golden Horde
Very little is known about these people, Though, Rumors of their raids through out the territories east of the known world is becoming more of a word. Far Eastern Merchants shake in fear when they even hear the sound of their empire, or it's leader, Genghis Khan. It has technology that the world known world has never seen before, like the dreaded Rockets that they have brought from the Far East. It wasn't just lately they have made their impact on the western empire, as the Mongolians Razed once, the Persian Empire's Famous Capital to the ground. Will the world fight to stop The Golden Horde's advancement? Or ignore it until their invasion is at their doorstep?

    Diplomacy:

JIHAD History: Too Soon to be Called. Target: Baghdad (Seljuk Turks)

DESTROYED FACTIONS: Kingdom of Ireland, Kingdom of Jerusalem

    ========================================================================

As the Eastern Roman Empire sits at cross roads, and now hearing of another crusade to claim the holy lands once more from the Islamic armies, The Roman Empire has helped the Crusaders before against the Infidels when they attempted to invade their Empire, gaining back parts of Asia minor. Also hearing more rumors of the "Golden Horde" coming closer to it's home from more and more far east Traders, The Basilius Ioannis himself ordered a court of all diplomats to gather, and to discuss any thing at their will and as their leaders tell them to do so. Many countries of the known world are invited to this court, That is located in the Capital city of the Eastern Roman Empire; Constantinople...

Announcement to all crusading countries, If you are planning to walk through the Eastern Roman Empire, You will be asked to leave, If you do not, you will be forcefully removed, As we are strict over any type of military going through our lands, If you are not directly allied with us, You are not welcome. Unless you pay an army movement cost, Which will be 2,500 for a half a stack. and 5000 for a full stack of troops. We have built forts to prevent you to coming in our lands as... un-welcomed guests.

We are Christians, but we denounce the pope's will. and clearly this is the pope's will. So leave us be, We treat the followers of a false leader, and Islamic people, the same in regards as military policy. No access.

We hope you all take this good, and come talk to us, if you still wish to take a land rout, if not, Please find a boat.

well, sicily has the sea to go through, unless you want to have me as an ally for sicily as well!

Though for france, We must deny you. As you are outside of our known area, we can not trust you. You can hire the mercenary boats off the coast line.

If any faction wishes to go onto our land with out our punishment, They will be removed.

(If any factions already had their armies onto our lands, Please move them out during the next turn)

We have very strict borders. Unless some type of... "Gift" of your travel means safe as we mentioned it before, we will not believe it.

Poland, you can go to the middle east by purchasing your boat passes by the mercenary crusade boat force in the sea. Unless you wish to buy your way in like listed, You will be denied.

We are sorry for this, We are only doing this as we have recieved threats of possible chance of Christian nations attack. We do not wish harm for the crusaders, but we will not join them or aid them in one bit, unless if something is offered.

Or by traveling around the sea through the Kievan Rus.

The Prices are 5000 per full stack army. ofcourse with this 5000, you will be garenteed a full time defensive alliance with the Eastern Roman Empire, and Military access.

We warn though, We are currently allied to the lithuanians that are in a war with a Teutonic Knight order. We do not wish to join this battle, but if any other nation decides to invade Lithuania besides the Teutonic Kngiht order, The Empire of Novgorod will join it's cause. Though, we will not react if you attack the Lithuanian armies, out side of their lands. As this defensive alliance was created, after they were at war.

Also, the rout from constantinope has been blocked by Forts, You will need military access to get passed them, or they will stop you if you go next to them. We have opened up the South West bridge though, If you go near Constantinople, You will be stopped.

    Please heed our warning.

ERE, you are either with us or against us. Please pick wisely.
Please heed Our warning and join the Crusade or at least let us through. This isolationism can be interpreted as hostility by the Western World and the European Union.

Everyone, let him be. We are meeting in Crete before we sail to kill Muslims.

If you let our brothers who come by land go through Constantinople we will capture a Turkish city for you and if PoA is recovered we will give Cyprus back to you.

The Island of Rhodes, Cyprus. and... a well rounded city of conquer near our borders The Settlements are in the highest interest of the Eastern Roman Empire, If we are met with this, The Crusaders can go, With our blessing.

Cyprus for sure but we will see if we will give you Rhodes or not. Depends on what we earn from this Crusade. (I feel so white and imperialist Berlin Conference at the moment)

Ofcourse. We will not want a Turkish City, other than that, We will demand just 3 settlements that should be in the hands of the Romans in the first place.

Caffa (Genoan), Rhodes (Venice), and Cyprus (Kingdom of Jerusalem).

With that, their will be no fees for armies, and armies can go the south western rout on their will. There is only 1 land rout that is open. We are sure you will be able to find it, and use it. Ofcourse, that is If these demands are met.

Also each city will be given for 1000 florince, So... what will it be God's Children...?

    ...

Also for the Germans... Your name about Holy, or being a Roman is Blasphemy at best. More remarks like that and then you will make our defencive alliance with the Lithuanians into a Military one! Do not temp me, "you can not best me, you know this..." (What a great quote from a French General with dread as an enemy, try clicking on them, gotta love it! XD)

If we see the any germans on our lands, We will take it as they are invading, and we destroy. Since the Germans are soo... Aggressive, it is best for them to swim their way to crete, other than march themselves on our soil. As for the Eastern Roman Empire, as well as the few of the eastern wise, Have denounced the figure of the "Pope". So we refuse to join the crusade.

Consider yourself barred from the Eastern Roman Empire until further noticed, Unholy Germanic Tribes of the West.
