help i am geting a crash

i keep crashing in the beggining of the game. my whole pc crashes. it happens when i click on the alliance notice that happens on the bottem of the screen please help

Try a reinstallation of XGM. Just download and point the installer to your RTW directory, it will overwrite automatically, and is quite painless due to small d/l size (ie: quick nad easy). If your still having problems, report back.

Can you run vanilla RTW without the XGM mod?

I can't believe anything in the mod would cause your entire PC to crash.

It's unusual for RTW, or any mod to entirely crash your machine. You might want to check your graphics drivers, or if you're using steam check the instructions in the bugs sub-forum.

Yep, machines completely crashing generally means some type of hardware issue. Really the only way a game, or any application, can crash a system completely is if they make a call to the offending hardware.

I'll ask again, did you get a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) when it crashed? If so, the dump file that's created can be debugged to determine the cause of the crash.

thats what was wrong with mine.
