2 Quesitons, please help!

starting a game...

ok so when i installed XGM, I was prompted to select a campaign in the provincial compaign list, there is showed several different choices.

Whats with all the choices? Can someone explain the difference, I noticed the imperial campaign on there, is that just like vanillla?

Also I have alexander now, but I'm wondering if its worth installing for XGM, What do you guys think? I know i lose the horde and the shield wall ability, but what does alexander bring to the table?

You have Alexander.exe. Use it.
Second, the Imperial Campaign is the main XGM game.
The Provincial Campaigns only difference is that you control a Greek City State instead of the GCS.

Finally, I have the Steam version of Rome total war Gold, and My own store bought retail version of Alexander. Does anyone know what I need to put in my launch options to be able to utilize Alexander.exe?

also is there an alexander patch? I couldn't find a 1.9v anywhere on filefront.com

nevermind i found out through searching the forums that alexander vanilla, IS 1.9v
