Vikings will be the first for me!
Then I'll probably start another viking campaign. Than another one..
My choices are either Wessex or the Franks!

I guess no one is up to the challenge of taking on East Anglia for their first run through.

haha, I think you'd have to be a little suicidal and brave to go for the East Anglians, especially on the first go around, unless you're playing on E/E and have some cheats laying beside you...

I might have them as my 4th or 5th campaign, but I would rather be suicidal on H/H then E/E and cheat (besides toggle_fow...). Anyways it would be nice to just defend your country and slowly expand instead of conquering everything in sight right at the beginning.

First - Hordaland
second - Denmark
third - Vestfold
fourth - Normandy
fifth - i don't know
I was thinking about Wessex (especially because i would like to test the housecarls on the battlefield)...probably i will choose it for my fifth campaign then
(I'm sorry if my english isn't good i will improve it...)

I agree that the East Anglians would be a very different type of game. As much as aggressive expansion has its merits (and share of excitement), some of the best games I've enjoyed have been decidedly defensive-style campaigns. Once I played as the Venetians on VH/VH and though I didn't expand much, I had loads of fun defending my settlements from countless Milanese, Hungarian and Byzantine onslaughts with crowded parapets full of Venetian archers and Colonial Guards . I think the East Anglians might be a similar sort of experience

normans , i wanna invade britain hehe
well, I'll play Hordaland or Vestfold, then Hordaland or Vestfold. Later possibly one of the Irish factions, then all the rest.
I hope they do not end up like the Welsh in MTW: Kingdoms, in which I conquered half of the Kingdom of England simply by taking my beginning troops and some mercenaries and blitzed straight out of Wales. So I hope I can fight a defensive campaign quietly gainning territory and Armies.

Norman clans (late Duchy of Normandy)
I'd play Vestfold, gotta unite Norway under Harald Fairhair so Hordaland is in for an early beat. By the way, has the Norwegian kings been demoted to jarls?
There were no norwegian kings at the mod's starting date. Only petty kings and local ruling powers, represented by both jarldoms.
Afterwards (maybe in our next release), a cunning jarl could unite both jarldoms and declare himself king of Norway...
