I charged a Sabaean general into some Ethiopian axemen from the back; he died on impact. Soon after, I charged another general into a different unit, also from the back; he also died on impact.

Needless to say, I haven't been charging my generals into too many units since then.

it used to happen a lot with my greek city states generals and nowadays i use them mostly to hunt fleeing enemies.

yeah, but at the cost of many of my great men....

The generals in earlier versions- 5.6.7, etc. are better in terms of charging. My one Greek general charged triarii head on with like two losses.

The wall collapsed on your general? First time I ever got attacked by more than one ram and only had pallisade, I put my soldiers against the wall. The enemy knocked over the wall and my elite troops got squashed :S

Dumbest thing I've done lately is start a Provincial Campaign AAR, knowing full well I was gonna get my butt kicked.
