Westeros: Total War on PC Gamer coverdisk

I was rather bemused to get the latest issue of PC Gamer UK (the one with the Left 4 Dead cover) and found a copy of Westeros: Total War on the cover DVD. Flattering, I suppose, and it's good for UK-based PC gamers who don't want to do the huge download, but at the same time it's mildly irritating they didn't bother getting in touch with the modders. I left details on the PCG forum about the game, the page here and on Westeros.org, plus they have my email from my registration details.

It is interesting in the mag itself that they claim four people in the office are huge ASoIaF fans, which is why they grabbed it. They've even got an amusing caption ("Look! You can see Riverrun and everything!"). Just seems bit bemusing.

EDIT: Crikey, they've got a full third-page article on it in the Extra-Life section of the mag as well. Including one of my screenshots!

Well, because a lot of hard work was put into it by the team members, and a little love would be nice.

Wow. Who'd have thought that an unfinished version of our little mod would end up getting a feature in a gaming magazine? I can't get PC Gamer UK around here- anyone know if the North American version would have the same thing? If not, I demand pictures!

I bought the mag beforre seeing this thread infact came to this thread because of the article in the mag. I had seen the thread a while back but didn't know there was a beta out until I saw it on the disk. Glad to see things are ticking along nicely. I love A Song of Ice and Fire although I wasn't as keen on a Feast for Crows as the previous books.
