Nah he's basically the same as the poeni infantry I think it needs something different I was thinking of something like a Thueophoroi with a pylos helmet. I tried to make a pylos helmet for the city militia but it doesnt look right, so I think I'll do a new one.

Really like the hair detail on the Baleric Slinger, a lot of unit creators go for the spectacular and fail to realise that little details on the simple units really stand out. Imo that's your best unit so far. Next step, faces I think..

Made a new face for one of my models other previously Ive just used the CA faces. Not sure if I will bother changing all of the other skins because I quite like the CA faces if I'm honest. Anyway here it is

Ive updated the original post with some changes to the city militia unit Ive put on a new pylos helmet and a new shield I think it looks a bit better now



I quite liked the old shield so I think I may use it with another unit like a Thureophoroi or Thorakitai

I think this is good idea because the old shield is more apt for those models,and you have a darn good shield design to boot!

For religion and Carthage I heard some nasty stories of child(and males)sacrifice to the God Saturn. If that diety is so important,is there any unit with links to him in shield or costume design?
