i suggested this a while ago, but think it got missed.

How about a glossary, the GW seems really popular now, and i know i still get confussed by many of the terms, such as blending, and render (okay i understand render now, but didn't for ages. And still have no idea what blending is, cause i thought it was smudging, but i used it and got told i was using the term wrong!)

this would be especially helpful for us newbies

The latest report was on the 7th September, almost 3 months ago.

The idea of creating a list of art terms and sticking them somewhere is a good one. See about that also.

The thing about the term render is that it has a good deal of varying definitions. To define Renderr in terms of Graphics you have to associate it with the more appropriate term mask.I like the idea about a glossary, preferentially with some visual support.

Hi fellow citizens, There have been a few proposals and debates about which TWC forum page should be the default for new visitors and such. Maybe its time for a complete change to ring in the new year.
Somebody did suggest a sort of panorama theme, showing past and present TW releases and covering the broad appeal of all the games we indulge in. I think this would be very appealing to the visitor's to our site.
Also it could give our excellent graphic's artists a chance to test their mettle.

A change to the TWC interface/skin in the new year would be a good thing, maybe it would be a good thing to start a thread for the banner or even a competition and the winner would accompany the proposition in the CVRIA.

I can understand the site being down. And not really knowing when it is going to come back up.. unless you are a moderator but since I am relatively new in this thread.. doesnt matter to me

The site was down for what 2 days? Thats 2 days people couldnt compete in this competition, those people deserve to have that extra time. We did the exact same thing last year.

Sure, but please explain to me how the server being down relates to the ability to open photoshop or gimp.

People may not know the theme, and thus haven't been able to do anything. Also, because the site only went up just before the deadline, people might not have been able to submit their submission jet, for whatever reason.
