Would like a suggestion.
I like playing as greece.. so I decided to check out XGM, but before I do:
It seems like alot of influence is on the greek people (duh!) but does it change anything besides the greek class? Or is that what sub mods are for?
Any recommendations on submods? (I don't know if this counts as the 'dont compare mods rule')
Thanks.

more info about XGM: www.wmwiki.com/hosted/xgm
Extended cultures is a pretty good submod, if you want an even more greek focused experience try XGM: Diadochi

Re: Would like a suggestion.
XGM is far from a Greek-exlusive modification... Every faction has been changed, except Pontus and Armenia (which already had pretty good rosters in vanilla). Obviously the Greek factions have the most extensive changes, but Germania and Iberia both have gotten a nice makeover, and Carthage and the Ptolemaic Empire are completely new factions, very little remnants of vanilla there. The nomads (Scythia and Parthia) have been changed significantly as well, plus there's two new playable factions, Saba (Arabian) and Baktria (Far east).

You cant forget the work done on the romans and the rebel counter parts. Though the game play is for the agressive you could always get the "Alternate Gameplay SubMod". If you get the newest virsion it come with the Extended Cultures which I love having in the game. They have done a very good job with this mod so give it try and see what you think of it.
