I finished I think two campaigns, but I started dozens. The thing is, in the end it gets quite boring. You have to micromanage up to 50 cities each turn and lots of armies, while there is no more real challenge because no AI faction can beat you anymore. Normally, I make a "Save" at some point with the intention to finish it later, but never come to that again. Instead, I start a new campaign with a weak faction- until it is too strong again.

Depends on what you mean by finished. When it is close to the end == the book keeping to maintian order sometimes seems to make completion to the final screen not worth the effort. I enjoy the process more than getting the actual victory screen.

Once, as HRE, I had conquered one third of the world, all of africa, egypt, iberian peninsula, france, britain, turkey, persia, poland, scandinavia. Basically all of europe and the middle east except for the northern factions like Novgorod, Kievan Rus, Cuman Khanate.

I repped you Rebel.. just to let you know. I finished a campaign with with England however it was only short i find it fun for me to have a massive empire but not to conquer everyone as its no fun then...

I have only played for 1 or 2 months at my friend's house. And I can only finish 3-4 turns a day. Anyway I love slow campaigns

All my campaigns were played slowly, I did play alot of campaign to see different aspects of the game. Thoses around 200 full campaigns served me well for making my guides... If you haven't seen them this thread is stickied on this page here is the link : The Great Informative Thread
