God the AI can be thick; here are some examples.

1. Setting their own onagers on fire when they aren't even any of my troops on the ground

2. Onagers in the town centre (My cavalry are currently about 0.0000002 seconds away from owning them

)

3. They broke their soldiers backs so they could... well.... *marily manson cough cough*...

4. 1120 Romans charge my phalanx (and this is true)....

5. 13 seconds later (and this includes withdrawing to see the bodies afterwards).... the results were 2m high at least
