Overrated up the wazoo. It's sad that he died young, but yeah.

Dimebag is one of my favourites. Though I'm not too familiar with his post-Pantera material, he was definetly one of the greatest metal guitarist!

Very good guitar player but he's hugely overrated this days.

I'm not that into Pantera or metal of any sort, but it's certainly a shame what happened to Dimebag... any artist that dies that way deserves some sort of recognition.

Well I guess it's pretty common for a person to receive some extra recognition for his achievements if he meets a tragic end whether he was an artist or a politician. But generally I don't see how an artist
can be "overrated". Those who like him rate him highly, those don't, don't.

A good guitar player without a doubt.
Never liked Pantera tho.

I was really sad when he died, felt as if a part of my youth has been killed.

His assassination is a clear case why gun control should be stricter in the US, and why US soldiers shouldn't be trained like they were the unmatched kings of the world.

What kind of limp wristed metal head are you dude? Someone you like dies and suddenly we need stricter gun control? Are norwegian knife laws too loose because Euronymous got stabbed to death?

One of the best. Cowboys from Hell, Vulgar Display of Power, and Far Beyond Driven will always be models on Metal songwriting and guitar playing.

Now this is what I like to see! Some proper respect for the greatest meal band out there!
