    Default few questions ?

Hope you will understand my english :

    A. What is the difficulty setting recommended by the developpers ?
    B. When I start a campaign the advisers automaticly ask me to launch the script by simply pushing the Show Me button, after that do I still need to do Esc + ? + Show me ??? (to activate 4tpy and Garrison)
    C. Playing as Roman can I destroy the Senate whenever I want ?
    D. Is the Senate still playable with the method for 6.4 ?

    Thanks for answer

    A. Medium/Medium

    B. You don't need to do it again the first time you start a campaign, but each time you load a savegame you must do it again, manually.

    C. Yes, I think so.

    D. It may be possible to play them but it's not supported, no one has tried and no one really cares I think. The game is intended to be played as Romans, not senate.

I have never played SPQR before. What factions are there and why are the Britons unplayable in the campaign?

The default faction list is used, actually.

Rome is the only faction you are supposed to play in SPQR. The game is very very different from any other mod.

The britons are unplayable because they have no ships, they are stuck in Briton.

this mod is made to play as the romans, so it is best to play this mod as the julia factions.

    why you may ask :

    - it is made to give the player a challenge when playing as the romans.
    - the game is balanced for roman play
    - all factions have a lot of bonuses (this will make it harder for the player)
    - it is just fun to play as romans

britons arn' t playable becous faction slots are all in use for other playable factions i guess.

well, everyone has anwsered your questions already

but SPQR TW is indeed made to play as the Romans only, but this way the experience and the game play is much better then any other mod, IMO

if you like a (damn hard) Roman campaign, try this
