    Default Language problem on installation? Help

    Have just bough MTW:GOLD and when i attempted to install it the very first message that came up before it had installed anything was
    'Cannot Determine the installed game language for Medieval Total war:Gold' Any idea what this means? Recently had a problem with my computer that necessitated a non-destructive recovery. Could this have affected the language settings on my computer and caused this problem? This is weird i have never had any prob like this before. HELP!!!!
