Cleaning his gun whilst both he and it were loaded. Genius.
'When people stop believing in God, they don’t believe in nothing — they believe in anything. '
-Emile Cammaerts' book The Laughing Prophets (1937)
Under the patronage of Nihil. So there.
Getting drunk off your rocker while presumably watching your kids: stupid
Wanting to handle a gun while smacked outta your mind: (bleep)ing stupid
Asking your six year old daughter to bring you a gun while allegedly pissy drunk: inexplicable...![]()
Now if Stormy would've accidentally pulled the trigger when handing him the gun...
I'm willing to bet 'don't hand a gun to someone barrel first' was probably the only thing he ever said to her about guns...![]()
Maybe they should make all prospective gun owners take a course in correct weapons handling.
unfortunate...the six year old has the genes too though...who knows if they were recessive as well? makes me wonder if stupidity is a trait. sure, the six year old doesn't understand the lethality or concept of death very well...but it was the parent's fault for this incident.
People should take gun safety and handling lessons for their own good, not because they're forced to. It's like the seatbelt laws...common sense says you should wear one, yet the law fines you if you don't. Who are you hurting by not wearing your seatbelt? Yourself. I think the only reason why suicide is illegal is because the only way to be taxed after your death is through the inheritance tax. Small rant but I hope you understand my train of thought.
edited to add: I forgot...the guy was drunk. more lack of common sense.

The guy is pretty much stupid on all accounts, as pointed out even if he wasnt cleaning his guns at the time he was drinking while watching a kid which in itself is bad enough. Complete and utter moron, its a shame a little girl paid the price for his stupidity and not himself.
The list of the number of counts of stupidity commited:
1.) Getting drunk
2.) Getting drunk in the presence of your 6 yr. old daughter
3.) Getting drunk cleaning a gun
4.) Telling you daughter Stormy to bring you the gun while its loaded
5.) Getting drunk cleaning a gun while its loaded
6.) Getting drunk cleaning a gun in the presence of your 6 yr. old daughter
7.) Naming your daughter "Stormy."
Yep, over all general stupidity. Still doesn't justify restricting gun ownership.
You're right. I think people should just choose not to have one.
Although, I'm in the market for one now...after reading all these stories about white people going bonkers because of the election...
I don't know about it being "political" I suppose it could've went into Thelma Davis but...I didn't know.Is this even political?
Or wait, is this supposed to be the fourth anti-gun thread in the past two weeks? I get it, I get it.
"Anti-gun!?" A story about a six year old being accidentally killed by her drunk father...
A tragedy? Yes.
(bleep)ed up? Yes.
A crying shame? Yes.
Anti-gun? Not even remotely...
Is this even political?
Or wait, is this supposed to be the fourth anti-gun thread in the past two weeks? I get it, I get it.

In Soviet Russia you want Uncle Sam.
Stormy... isn't that a common first name in Austrailia?
