Where can I find old units of XGM ?

Hi all,

While I looking around I saw some nice units in older versions of XGM like these immortals :

How can I find the older unused units of XGM ?:hmmm:

HeroSK, you could always download old XGM versions here and look through version history to identify the last version that had those immortals. Some old XGM installers require older RTW version (1.2, 1.3 etc), but I guess there should be a simple way to get the files you need out of the installer.

Those are the old Parthian Companions (before Dime did his nomad reform). They were quite kick ass, but I don't know exactly how to add them back in....

Thanks for advise ME, I will look into older versions but I am curious if some "lost" units that are not avalaible in the avalabile downloads..

Scutarii, it is easy to put them into mod again, you need model, skin, unit cards and some text work if you want I can explain in briefly or you can also search for tutorials about unit adding. Here a good tutorial if you are interested.

I remember a unit with heavy horse (not armoured) cataphract with shield, but I forgot to where I saw it.

It was pretty nice looking unit anyway..

Can you make a bigger screenshot? Somehow I cant enlarge the screenshot of Immortals.

Its funny, cuz I sometimes modified the EDU file and I saw these Immortals listed aswell.....I just never encountered them. Now I know why, they are removed.

So I hope you can post up a bigger screenshot of those guys.

Sorry my fault, Here is bigger picture of them. Also, I think Scutarii was mentioning about different "Immortals". Scutarii's immortals are in the first picture. If you look them carefully they are different. :hmmm:

HeroSK: It is possible that some units, or certain versions of them, won't be in the versions of XGM that are available for download. I have much more complete acrchives of old versions of XGM, so if there is a particular version you want to have a look at just let me know.
