RTR can not load

Hello, I downloaded RTRPE but got this annoying error: http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f1...im5/Oddexe.jpg This goes for all the RTR application icons on the desktop and there is non in RTR. The way I installed the game: Installed RTW Updated it to 1.5 from 1.3 Installed BI Already at 1.6 Downloaded RTR and installed it in its own folder, reseting the map file. After that I transfered docs and data into the RTW which is a Creative Assembly type folder. Does anyone know what to do about this, thanks.

Im no expert, but it looks like the shortcut might be unable to find the target BI.exe.
Check the shortcut properties against the path of where the actual game is located.

Is that Vista you are using? It might be worth checking out the Vista users help thread.

Like CoS said, you have a wrong shortcut... (It has nothing to do with Vista...)

Just go to the place where you have BI and RTRPE installed. Right-click the BI.exe and create a shortcut on your desktop.
Then go to that new shortcut. Right-click it and put the following to the very end of the target line:

-mod:RTRPE -show_err

In total the line should look like this:

"...\RomeTW-BI.exe" -mod:RTRPE -show_err
