The Great

I remember a couple of years ago, Dime said if one of your generals become victors in Asia, Africa, and Euroupe, they get the title "the Great" at the end of thier name. Has anyone ever done that? I've only gotten two continents then my general gets held up by a super faction.

I've only ever gotten two... Europe and Asia. But I've never purposely gone out and tried to get it either...

I got one. With GCS. One against the Macs, i thought, then i sent that general to Asia-Minor and he fought one against TSE, and then joined in the invasion of Carthage, where he got the final one.

I had one with the Seleucids (easiest to get it); he promptly died in a siege by Pontus soon after though...

if the xgm had 4tpy script it would be easier cuz that means each general lasts longer.

i havent had the great yet but ive had magnus and augustus with the romans

is "the great" the greatest suffix a man can have? i think magnus and augustus sound pretty good too

pretty much, yeah but the only flaw is the -10 in personal security

He means escort your general with 3 spies and assassins. The spys provide security and spot threats, the assassins kill assassins. I think its a bit of overkill. I've only ever used 1 spy and 2 assassins at most and that seems to work fine.

when i play as Sparta, i always make sure leonidas becomes a great!!

Only one, playing as the Selucids. I was warring against Bactria and when they gave out, I brought him into Asia Minor and he took Byzantium from Macedon (who had a half stack guarding and a full stack inside, due to my previous attacks to the region), and then used him in finishing off Egypt a couple years later. His name escapes me, and he died of natural causes a long time ago.
