    Default Mod Manager?

I bought Empire total war via steam so I got the steam version of rome free. Is there a mod manager? I just had to delete Rome and the folder contents to remove the SPQR mod. Btw Kudos to Lt_1956, it is very impressive. The textures and music are superb.

Just copy your RTW folder multiple times to have multiple mods. Have a clean copy of rtw for replacement copies, or more mods, and to play vanilla if you want, and an rtw folder for each mod you want.

That takes to much hard drive space.

Then you'll be stuck with only mod-foldered mods, like XGM and EB. If you also have a mod that overwrites original files, than you'll both lose vanilla, and mod-foldered mods will have out of place banners, faction symbols etc. But still playable.

And honestly, it doesn't take up much HD space. My 2004 computer could easily manage 4-5 copies of RTW, with plenty of other games on board as well... You could also just make 1 copy to reduce the strain on your HD, and play 1 mod at a time (or multiple modfoldered mods and one non-modfoldered one), keeping a clean one for backup (very important, you do not want to get stuck in a situation requiring you reinstall a mod that isn't modfoldered and you have lots of mods in the folder you need to delete to do that. Which would requre a full reinstallation.

if the mod is not automatically make a mod folder like RS you can put it in its own folder and get your shortcut to use the show_mod(just got a mind block) in the find target.

My Great Lord Feloric has experimented with copying the Rome: Total War directory and making it work with Steam. My Lord has found having multiple copies of the original directory will not work because Steam will only let the original copy be played. This infuriated my Lord, and he demanded that I advise you not to download mods that change the game directory files like Roma Surrectum.

Then you should see if a mod has it's own mod-folder. If it does you can install it on a vanilla copy without losing either vanilla or the possibility to install other mods. Those mods will have to be mod-foldered as well.
If you want to play a mod that isn't mod-foldered and you don't want to make a new copy of rtw vanilla, then either you lose vanilla or you are out of luck.
