MT2 GOLD. cannot determine language....?

So I have the Gold edition.
When I try to install it, a window pops up and says 'cannot determine the install language for Medieval 2 Total War: Gold'

what can I do? thanks

I have also got this problem and it is irritating the life out of me! I seem to be cursed when it comes to getting a version of Kingdoms running. When i bought them individually i couldn't get past the update to 1.3.
