    Default How do I remove the extra HP on general units?

    Yeah, as the topic says, I want to remove it. It sucks, bad. I just fought a battle against the scots, and one general unit with about 30 men killed over 300 trained armored sergeants alone. It took 10 minutes just to kill 12 of them. I had to quit the game to avoid losing cause of the general units they had (bloody scots garrison all their generals in one settlement.)

    I mean, they just have basic mail armor, great helms and barded horses. Yet it takes 15 hits from a spearman to get him down on the ground.

    You could make the generals bodyguard unit consist of lesser units...

    If you've already unpacked the game, go into whatever folder of data you wish to edit and scroll down until you reach the export_descr_unit.txt. CTRL+F search into the file to find the general bodyguards. They are seperate from their defining culture (like Northern European, Greek, Middle Eastern). Go around and look in their stats and find the one that says health. Modify it to your hearts desire.

    The general can receive traits that add to his hitpoints like HaleAndHearty and Doctors/Apocetharies for ancillaries. I don't think it added that much to him, since I barely notice a difference between a general with HP traits and a regular one without. Otherwise, the general uses the bodyguard HP.
