Nations exist to service the people inside it, a Global Government is not only impossible to maintain/initially construct, but by the simple fact of what it is means your Government puts less attention to servicing and maintaining your needs, culture, economy, etc etc.

With that being said, Ron paul is a douche.

I was watching a news show earlier this evening where the upcoming G20 summit will basically be a smash up affair against the US economic policies. This of course will be an attempt to shove Government controlled marketing down the American peoples throats.

Ron Paul is clearly exaggerating, although he is more or less correct. there will be even more international regulations which will directly affect US as well.

i posted this in the other thread

the problem with the league of nations and its successor the UN for the people that promote and push globalization.
is that some nation states still had the veto power, and of course there own financial power.
What would work is several blocks, for example the EU, North America.
As these two areas are very much financially tied together and as this trend continues, it becomes harder and harder to divide them on policy and how they operate.
A sort of, world financial system therefore, would be much better for those who support globalization than a political one like the UN. Imagine UN sanctions with about 50x the effect.

i dont know if i buy the 'conspiracy theorys'. but you can look at whats going on and there is most certainly a push for globalization.
