A very well-made mod. Congratulations. The units are amazing. Great map.
    Small error: slingers make archersound.

    Looks nice, downloading it now.

Also, on the Spartan unit. I can give you some advice for Historical accurate shields if you'd like (At this time they wouldn't wear the Lambda I believe). (with pictures)

Aren't the Romans the children of Aeneas? According to their foundation myth, Aeneas founded Rome and Carthage is their enemy because of a curse by Carthaginian queen Dido, who was a bit upset by Aeneas leaving her.

Yeh, better than no sound though, imo anyway..

Hmm, I wouldn't know, but I did base my Spartan off the EB Spartan which I think is around the same period, give or take 20 years.

Hmm, not sure why I put that in, I think I just copied that section from somewhere, or maybe I edited at the wrong place, whoops!. Anyway you're partly right in that Aeneas isn't known as the Father of Carthage, but he's not the father of Rome either, depending on which story you chose to believe. It's a contentious issue between Aeneas and Romulus.

This is unlikely I think... What is the error report that comes up?

    First of all-great mod!
    A few things-
Carthaginian Mori Gaesum are invisible at ground-level. You can see their sprites form above, but when you zoom in you can see only their officers (and they are headless).
Also, Sicilian Spearman is spelled wrong, it saya Siclilian Spearmen.
Please do not take these to heart, they are very minor things.

! really?, hmm I looked at them just before release and they were fine. I'll have to look at them again.

No worries, every mod has the odd typo..

I'd love to see some screen shots if anyone has taken any..

Really odd, this is a shot I took of the unit just before release. I'll look at the DL version in the morning. Not sure what went wrong tbh.

Many thanks for a really beautiful mod. Skins and unit formations are a real pleasure to behold. Great battles too. And great unit cards!

I'm playing a Syracuse campaign. All went well for a few turns, but then, when I clicked the end turn button I got a CTD. Before that, when I exited the game, I got a script error message about some character not having a father or something . . .

Anyway, I'd really like to continue playing this mod, as it looks great. Thanks again - very impressive.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll look into the family issue tomorrow, as for the end turn CTD, did it generate any error msg?.

    Hi There,

I'm afraid I could find no error message, but I'll be playing the mod later today and will keep a closer eye on things. I'd been playing as Syrakousai and had queued up some buildings to construct. I clicked end of turn and the CTD occurred. I'll see what happens on the next session.

But I really like the mod. It's beautiful to look at. And the battles are impressive. I watched my AI reinforcements execute a flanking march and then form up in the enemy's rear before delivering a charge - never seen that before in RTW.

I also like the 3-faction dynamic and the big, localised map.

Thanks again for your effort - you got something good here.

If you could list which building are in the queue, and any other info that might be relevant. There are CTD's inherent in RTW, I've had a couple in this mod which didn't occur after a reload.

I've found out why the Mori Gaesum unit is bugged, the model that went out on release isn't the one in my version whoops!..

    Hi There,

OK, I'll keep a note of buildings. Meanwhile, I just had another CTD, this time after quitting the casualties details screen following a battle. I restarted ny Syracuse campaign and just fought a successful battle against rebels. After the battle I wanted to check on casualties but when I quit that screen I got an immediate CTD - no error message.

I guess I'll reload the game and see what happens.

When I first installed the mod I played as Romani and had no problems at all. Only since switching to Syrakousai have the CTDs begun.

It's such a great mod though!

Update: OK, I should have mentioned that the battle above was at the town of Morgantina and my army was led by the Faction Leader. When I reloaded the game I fought the battle on autocalc, won, and then assaulted Morgantina and took it. No CTDs and everything was OK. Hope this helps?

We're looking into the CTD's but for now I've put up a hot fix for the Mori Gaesum unit in the first post.
