Thanks!!!
nice one
did wales still existed in 1337? it was conquerd by the English in 1288?
Yes klok, it was conquered. However, as I have stated several times, there was a large and prologed rebellion between 1399 and 1415 in Wales. This caused a lot of headache to the english king at the time (Henry IV and his son Henry V, who was sent by his father to fight in Wales at the age of 14)
lol you like talking bout the welsh
That's cool on a mountain. I dindn't know that. Were you so intressted in the hundred years war that you make a mod about it? or did you just want to make a mod? i hope you understand my bad English
duz tht mean you can play as owain glyndwr thought about having your own music in the game

I have 2 friends that can theoretically "produce" new music for the game, but I doubt they will have the time to do this. Plus, the original music is an awesomeness, so I can't really find a reason to put a different music in.
Still, I maybe add a few songs from Britannia Kingdoms in the mod. But that goes for for later. And maybe never
Not very sure about Oam, but speaking for myself, I was involved in this due to my great love in medieval history, my love in this specific period (100yw), my love for this game, the improvement of my skills, and ofc because of the fun of it. And I have to say I never regretted itWere you so interested in the hundred years war that you make a mod about it? or did you just want to make a mod?

klok:
Two books initially ignited my fascination for the hundred year war:
-The Domesday Book by Connie Willis. This is an especially treasured book, as it plays in Oxford and this is where at one point I lived for 3.5 years and met my wife. Much of it plays in modern Oxford, and I intimately know the places described in the book, and I have met many people who were exactly like the people in the book. It is one of the best medieval reconstructions I have ever read, and it is one of the best novels I have ever read. Very dark witty humour. Everybody dies.
- Timeline, by Michael Crichton. Although a lot of the plot is sloppily written and the logic in actions and events contains more holes than a swiss cheese, this is still a very fascinating and gripping book, set out in the Perigord region of France. I actually just re-read it in memory of Crichton who just recently died.
I have since read a lot about the war and built a trebuchet myself that threw rocks at a distance of about 50-70m.
I hope that answers your question.
That's very cool on a mountain. Good luck with the mod, i will wait!
can u tell me if we can play with Joan of Arc in this mod ?
ty
Have a look at your messages! She will almost certainy be in in the next version. We have left her out for now, so that we could release 0.8.
So, everybody: We are ready for the next release!!!
Have a look at the first page for the dl link plus info on the improvements!!
The scripting part of Jeanne d'Arc is pretty much done now. But we didn't wanted to include her in, since we still have to work further on this.
I know it sounds easy to put Joan in, but in fact it has several tricky parts.
Just to name some:
-She has to get a proper name (we are currently using "Jean", which is the male French name of Jeanne = Joan in English. Not as easy as it sounds, since women names cannot be assigned to generals. And if you put a famale name available for Joan of Arc, you will end with several other generals on the map having the, pretty much gayish name (no offence) "Jeanne".
-She should not get married!
-She has a male portrait and a male voice
We are not yet sure how many of these details we will be able to remove, but be sure we are trying our best here!
ps> For now, you can enjoy playing with a first version of the Black Prince, while playing as England ofc.

If Joan is not "in Heaven", then I doubt there is anyone, at least from those times
I admire her too, and every logical people should. But this is not a discussion for this thread!
I can give her the portrait I want, with just the addition of 1 word in scripts and 1 icon in the game files. But this is the case in Kingdoms. Unfortunately, some of us want the game to stay in vanilla med2 version, and I haven't fount so far any way to give her any specific portrait in vanilla. I can't find a way, no matter what I try.
