    Congratulations guys. I never hear about your mod, but it sounds interesting. I read about your new unitrooster. but I want to know if you choose only your specific units or are the units complete reskinded, cause I don't like the most vannilla skins.

    Well I love the vanilla skins ... units won't be reskinned, new units are made to look like vanilla units, because they look awesome

    They are not reskinned, but have tiny "improvements".

    gah you guys can't use pikes the key is to put them in choke points where there are no flanks you keep them in defense and if they start putting up the swords ask them to stop and they will put down the pikes the whole point of pikes are too hold people up and wait for the 'cavalry'. i had a pic but im not on my computer i had a unit of pike militia beat 2 units of men at arms in a fort with only 3 losses, but then they got shot up by hand gunners.

    Show me how you do this. I tried and, althought they indeed put some pikes out again, it doesn't happen effectively.

    Besides, what's the point of telling them "to stop"? Isn't the fact that you have to do this, lame?

    On another note, they won't have the same numbers as they had when with swords. And even with only pikes, they get pawned when attacked from the the rear

    So what is it that you don't like it?

    And stopping the attack won't work for the AI, so it is not a solution.

    CA just screwed things up and we'll think of something we will personally like.

    we really need to know when your downloading this mod this is value to us.

    i suggest you give like a spear bonus of 4 to billhoks and haldbreds for they were disigned to knock knights off there horses.

    The progress is slow as usually.

    Tell us some impressions of the campaign with England. Was it difficult or too easy? Was it the long campaign, and if yes what turn did you finished it?

    once you get their castles it's too easy.

    i also noticed that the flanders have no castles near them and their starting army is really kinda weak to conquer alot.

    Leige is near ... and I personally would like to make Egmond a castle.

    Besides, I would suggest that the smallest type of village should still be able to be converted into a castle ... at high cost

    Toulouse and Bordaux were castles you can vist them today and see their keep.

    It probably needs more cities and castles but placed at strategic points, not to have countryside choked up with cities and castles. Also, religious authorities should play bigger role like they did in Hundred Years War.

    Congratulations for the Forum. Me and my cousin started playing a hotseat with your mod (VH/VH), me as France and he as the English. The first few turns France does get in the negative very quickly and up to -20000 while England gets 10000 every turn. I managed to get money by directly atticking London and Southern England through the bunring and leaving to riot everything I conquered. Now we are at turn 50 and my cousin has finally arranged 3 full stacks and is attacking northern France. One of them is a full FM stack that is giganticly overpowered in my opinion. With that army he has destroyed two of my full stacks with loses from 2%-4%, and the bad part is that they retrain themselves for free. I took out flanders at turn 40-45, And Aragon with Burgundy have finally atacked me. This is a great mod and I hope it continues to grow.
