Screenshot Help!!

Hi, I need some help to do with screenshots. I took one usin g print screen and it saved as a TGA but I can only open it in Quicktime Image Viewer. can I use this to pots it on TWC? How ould I go about doing this?

You can open it in a program like Photoshop and save it again as a JPEG, or ignore the ingame camera completely and go with FRAPS. FRAPS takes pictures in common formats. I recommend FRAPS myself, takes the extra step out and taking pictures are super-easy.

You will need a program like Irfanview (free), ACDsee or FastStone Image Viewer (free) to change the TGA into a Jpeg. Or use FRAPS.

Yeah use Irfanview. It's awesome. Has a batch file converter...you select all of your screenshots and you can turn them into Jpegs with just a few button clicks.

You gotta get a place to host the image.

My favorite site is www.photobucket.com. It's pretty easy to use.

Upload them in the "large" size, that way people can still see details but it won't be a huge image.

Once you've uploaded, copy and paste the "IMG" tag link into the forum messages here.

It's already HTML coded for you, just paste it in your message and you should see it in your post.

Get an account at a photo site like Imageshack. It is free. You then can upload pictures to that site. These pictures you can post here using the insert image button in the toolbar. You have to copy the link that works for forums from Imageshack into the pop up. Just give it a try and good luck.
