    Isn't it about time something was done?

    I know my signature gives away my own personal views on this issue, but since the furore over aid has died down, the situation on the ground has returned to normal as far as the military government is concerned.
    ie treating their people like dirt.
    It sometimes seems as though other governments don't care or give a toss. Might is right seems to rule the day.

    It usually does as in cases of intervention the ones intervening are treated by the world as imperialists.

    Human rights is a 20th century invention... not to say that I don't believe in them myself, but in societies like these, it's still the rules of the jungle that they abide by.
