    Default Ragusa

    Ragusa was a wealthy merchant republic, so it can not be fortress like it is in the mod. It should be city with very strong upgraded walls but with all trade buildings inside. Also, rebel army defending have about 5 -6 strongest household knights. Totally inaccurate, no knights in Ragusa, just strongest city infantry militia – pikes, pole arms, crossbowmen. Even waging warfare around city was not suited for mounted warfare since it is very rugged mountainous terrain. Anybody who was in Dubrovnik knows it.

    One proposal. Is it possible to make that you can not take coastal town by starvation unless you blockade it’s port? It would be much more realistic.

    This is a good point, Ragusa should definitely be a city.

    We really need a Dalmatian Militia unit

    This isn't possible, but I can make a special garrison in the garrison script. This should help them to hold out.

    Developing new Dalmatian militia will take too much time. There is no need for that, southern European city militia like it is in Venice (just renaming them) would fit perfectly

    So you will put some additional units in port if I understood correctly?

    I will try to get somethng into the next patch. I plan to have it out fairly quickly to roll up the changes I added inthe re-uploaded 3.2.

    Good advice about blocking ports!! + Ragusa was never under Venetia, it would be nice if you made it a rebel sttlement...

    I believe they were a venetian dependency after the 4th crusade, for around 150 years or so.

    It's possible sinced they sacked their rival trade city - Zara - which was controlled by Hungary at the time on the way to Konstantinopolous


    Perhaps, Hungary exerted influence on Ragusa? I know they had extended to the coast in that region, I'm not sure by what year though.

    Do you guys know you can rename it to Dubrovnic when you conquer it? Just double click the name in the settlement view card.

    Besides FRAPS, is there another way to get SS via in game?

    prtscr via paint shows my desktop unfortunately

    yeah evreybody know that.

    The ´problems when you look at the tratis and you see the city sheild it will still be the same name that is given the first time, could be irritating some times

    just press the print screen key, and it will dump the screen into your sega\m2tw\tga folder.

    confirmed, everytime I hit PrtScrn old screenshots appear in the TGA folder. I mean SS from last January. there are 15 now, when there were 4.

    Not a single new SS has appeared only older ones. I'm just going to spam press PrnScr and see what happens. maybe I'll hit it rich


    hahaha, 30 images appeared, from BC, CBUR, and finally SV. It had to process older images. Weird. Anyway, here's a portrait of my ruler -

    I just read this thread about Ragusa and the idea to change it from being a castle into a city in the update.

    This is a good point, Ragusa should definitely be a city.
    Now after I downloaded the 3.2 patch it is still a castle.
    Otherwise everything runs smoothly...

    I don't think this really makes sense, I don't see how having the port really matters for getting food stuffs into the city if the city has military all around it blocking all entrances.
