Stupid Romans...
As you can see, a lot of Romans have been shot already. This is a Germans campaign of one of my brothers. He left only these 2 bribed generals inside, and this full strength legionary Scipii army appeared. He thought it was a dead loss and so left me to kill as many as possible. However, I remembered something I had done once with the Brutii at Porrolissum...
When they have no seige equipment, and you sally forth to meet them, they sometimes just stand in front of the walls. The towers, with their unlimited missiles, kill the end unit (slowly) and then they cycle a new one down. In the end, with 45 seconds of the battle to go (I had triple-sped it mostly) I charged 2 units of Equites and won with 0 casualties!
Has anyone else done this, and doe's it work only with the Romans?
