    Introduction
Greetings! Fellow Cimmerians! As now we are going to see what we are worth for and how we got famous to be included as a faction is Roma Surrectum I'll be going first with my own crappy comic relief that hopes to keep ya on the spirit reading this. Time would put us on troubles will the economic fuss. I'm going to tell you some bits of my strategy on how to survive the first 15 turns. Which army compositions I usually use, and last but not least why we are being called unique! Without further delay, here :

Useful Army CompositionsPics not uploaded yet coz photobucket is a bit stubborn. Please Wait. For now just stick with what I made before.

(City state hoplites can be utilised to make a stronger army)
This is the usual army I'm into, lots of falxmen that are potential threats with their great warcry. hoplites to hold the line with their seemingly invincible front. peltast to pepper javelins to the enemy's backs. And the medium cavalry that are threats to the enemy ranged units and excellent early flankers.
For the late army, I would recommend these:

The thracian peltast are much better than those in the early army. And now with archers. Strike fear into the enemy hearts with their flaming arrows!!!! Falxmen, Armoured Swordsmen, And the Spartan Hoplites whom you are familiar with and probably already got in the late days. The mere simple hoplites are still a threat if left alone. Now the nobles assisted us with a great unit of cavalry. They are a great doom to the archers and the weak backs of the enemy.
But in case of emergency, use this army as reserve troops:

They provide a very good fight to any that challenges them. Best don't try to overcome lots of them.
    SIEGE:

These are all you need to overcome the mightiest stronghold with your main army, Even Rome shall fall with this gigantic army!! Hang generals that are unlucky to come across this great army, like him:

And all armies that fight them would prepare their coffins, for this army is almost invincible. I have proved this with years of commanding them. And capturing the cities. I always come across a great funeral, like this:

Now good luck my friend commanding these great people, may my instructions be of use to you.

    Best regards,
    wr1ght

Edit : This is starting to get overhauled. Be patient.

Thank you for the rep, I'll think of making a part two, here is it:

Part 2: Commanding The Real Elites.

Greetings to you, my friend! Time seems to change, and so are the experience of your men. As battles and battles passes, I have to update my knowledge about our people, as people are starting to get richer, we must get men with richer abilities, experienced, veterans, and so on! Get them in your main army, like this:

Now all units are armed with better weapons and armor, After drilled in many battles, chevrons are shining around them! I had thought of making a change in the composition of the army as you can see, the thracian peltast are now exchanged with the services of Rhodian Slingers(Can do with Balearics) And the simple archers proved too clumsy against the much greater Cretans. So I had incorporated them into my army. I had also figured out that the hoplites are soon outdated as the Romans struck their armors down with their lousy pila. I decided to remove them. The falxmen are still the bread and butter of your main army. Just beware foes, Seeing them means your grave!
Now, your backup can do with this army:

These are all almost resembling army to your almost invincible army already mentioned. They can keep all enemies at bay. Who wants to be rained by slings and arrows? Come and GET IT here!
Now you'll a diversion army, I can think of one:

This army can do. still, the outdated turtle formation can still make people victories over victories. And so are these hoplites, I can guarantee they are still challenge to those enemies that sought you death. Guess you know what, The Sarmatians are here! And to reduce cost, I qualify them only until bronze equipments.

Now, try and seize this crown from Rome!

Good luck getting these elites to work for your army, may the continued faith of the God accompany you.

The idea of combining sophisticated 'civilized' troops with conanesque brutes is really appealing - a little insurance. against being the one who comes down the stairs in his silk slippers as the iron heels charge up

Dude, where are your horse archers? Who plays the Bosporans without a hoplite/horse archer army? Tis the greatest combination known to man!

Currently doing Bosporan campaign on H/VH. and would have to agree with cherryfunk, either recruit jav cav or hire horse archers, both are very important to have in a bosporan army, without those units I would have taken alot longer in destroying armenia and parthia. Also they can be used to chase down routing enemies so there will be no survivors. Very easy way of getting your light cav high chevrons.

@cherryfunk and Wolf-RTG : I'm going to overhaul my guide, expect full updates around tomorrow or the New Year. That includes having HAs there.
@MassRevolt- : Look at the stats carefully. Somebody in the dev team forgot to add their armor and attack piece to be bigger than falxmen. I made a thread somewhere in early November for reference.

I played man, The Bastarnae here somehow have lower stats than falxmen, and I would think overhauling this guide would be best. The Bosporan are not very reliable though. But still useful to a certain extent, Man, I just wrote this guide too fast it seems. Plus, I have no coding ability whatsoever at that time and forgot to say that I also used the Bosporans. Only before the second part comes.
And I would not write a guide before planning either, Why would I write something publicly just to be laughed at?
Now it comes to this.... I must prove my ability commanding these 'barbarians'. Saying this I had already prepared screenshots in the fraps folder.
I'm sorry to be harsh, but I don't like it very much when someone says I command a whacky army of one of my favourite cultures.

How can it be your favorite culture when you ignore their own Hoplites completely and somehow squeeze Spartans in there? That's like doing a Roman guide where your legions consist of Bear Warriors and Nubian Spearmen...

That's why I need to overhaul this guide, maybe along with the Parthians too. As I said before the second part of this guide I can't code at all. I mainly use the Bosporan Hoplites for armored meatshields while my falxmen would slash em up from behind. After you take the Byazantines you can access to better hoplites. I don't know why the team does not give em at least, 2 or 3 more attacks to both primary and secondary weapons. My Germanic guide, however must get more updates fo me. I love them the most after the Bosporans to an extent of making an AAR. Just wait till I command them personally, I can get loads of heroic victiories with barbaric and steppe factions!(update)
