Can't make enough $$$$ help please!!!

Hi all Im new to the forum and just had a question. It may sound simple to all but how do you make money in rtr (extended edition) in the millions with the romans. I constantly find my self in a position where I don't make enough money to support my economy. I have the whole of italy about 4 stacks and make about 1k per turn.

Do I make money mostly from taxes so as a result do I have to raid places enslave them and transfer to my most heavy tax city to get a tax bonus, or do I concentrate on trade farms and health bonus buildings (such as sewers and aqueducts) to grow my populace for taxation and trade.

Can someone give me some details on how they grow their economy to make the humongous bucks with the romans without overexpanding. Say only taking italy and maybe the constal settlements of Carthage.

OMG you need to reduce spending! Disband two stacks, reduce bordering factions - don't start another war unless your current enemies are dead.

Tax is bad and practically useless, because trade income is much larger than anything else.

PS: You could establish rich trade routes by capturing specific cities

Na dont disband the stacks. Use them take two of those stacks and attacks the major carthage cities can do that in a few turns with 2 full stacks

He doesn't need so many stacks.

1st army => beat all AI armies.
2nd army => provide garrison troops and besiege defenseless towns.
