I really love that movie, one of the best horror movies I've watched - of the kind that can keep you a little bit scared for a few days after you already watched the movie. Really good one.

Did anybody else watch it? What's your opinion?

Yep it was really good, one of better King adaptions to film and a throw back really to old school horror. No tricks like Saw, no bizarre little girl or boy running around just pretty straight up haunted place movie. It worked really well It would really scare anyone but its highly enjoyable to watch.

I thought it started off brilliantly but dragged on near the end when it got a bit weird. Still reeeeeally scary though.

Yeah ending was a bit weak..I think the alt ending or the book ending would have been better.

It was a good movie, I enjoyed it. But I didnt really find it all that 'scary'. I refer to it fondly as "Silent Hill 4: The Room: The Movie(2)"

I read the short story a couple years before the movie came about. Naturally I had to see the movie. John Cusack really carried it. Sam Jackson was obviously great.

I liked the numbers part at the end, with the phone speaking. I thought that was a messed up part of the short story, just the insanity of it all.

I thought it was pretty average. But then, I watched it half asleep on the flight to Japan.
