You know, it would make a lot of sense to post both a 434 and a 463 campaign map on the DL page with all of the updates. I'd make a guide for you if you want, with a picture of each campaign, what faction is what color, etc.

What are you using for a computer? How much ram etc..?

64 mg graphics, 633 mhz processor, I'll check the ram but the computer runs Halo and battlefront without a hitch and those are much more complex games

i have most of england now, had some great battles, careful planning means i havent had any major defeats yet ive been playing the AI off against eachother (me and the other romano brits fighting saxons and celts etc)

Nice. Reminds me of my old Pict campaign on SAI, where I meant to conquer all the old Celtic lands. Too bad I lost the savegame by the time I'd taken Gaul.

I am quite in trouble in my WRE 463 campaign : Berbers to the south, franks and wisigoths in gauls ( I have destroyed DoS ) and ERE in Illyricum. With irregular finances...it is goiong to be an epic campaign !

Ok, so here are some more screenies of my WRE save..



So Sitifis and Cirta rebelled...the bastards. I was attacked by a huge Berber army but drove them off with heavy losses with my two elite generals whom i was actually trying to have killed when attempting to finish off the Vandals. Which I did btw, in capturing lol Caesarea and permanently ending their nuisance raids. Only thing now is that the Berbers are going to be bothersome whilst trying to sort out the godawful mess that is Africa, what with its constant disorder and the fact that I have stuff all money to build anything and garrisoning them with troops is also too prohibitive.

After I took that shot, I recaptured Sitifis and butchered the ingrates. The exploding population is not so much of an issue now ( +3.5 %), so I now have a bit of money to pay for repairs and build things. Cirta will cop it bad as well...and here I will finally destroy any barbarian buildings and start the slow Romanization of these lands.



So I had decided to head north and destroy the DoS. The settlements I picked turned out to be inhabitated by the Burgundians, who had been put to flight by the Suebi after migrating this way. Well they had to pack their belonging again when I decided to move in. The DoS launched a small incursion into Mediolanum but left shortly after. This part is particularly troublesome as there is a large army wintering in one of their settlements to the north west of the Alps. As it is, Arbogestes is on the move again heading to the nearest DoS settlement which hopefully its capture will give us a bit of financial maneuvering.

For now, we are at peace with the Goths who keep attacking and then suing for peace.

But anyway, having an excellent campaign, Rio. WRE 463, hanging on by my fingertips at the moment.
