Probably they lost their last town. So they become a horde and settled down in Scadinavia after that. In this mod some peoples become a horde after they lost their last town like the original B.I.

Yeah it's been a blast but the Jutland situation is annoying as I always end up losing it because I have my hands full with the picts and occasionally the gaels.
So why not build several forts with full garrisons in your northern borders. That will ease the pression over your settlements and could be very useful to defend that zone. Also perhaps you already have done that but fleets play a key role in britain. If you could block enemy ports or even sunk enemy fleets that could carry out troops you have time to reconquer Jutland. If it was with me after i reconquer jutland and will exterminate the populations of the towns. that's a good strategy specially if you newly conquered land lives in unrest.
To convert saxons e believe you could build churches simply destroy the pagan temples and see if you have the option to build a church. However peoples that are clearly pagans or mainly pagans will make unrest much more dense. Sendind a character with the trait christian could help. If you could not find one in our initial towns perhaps in other conquered towns where are christian you could recruit one or two generals with the trait. O you could put your king or heir or other familly mmebers in that towns. Some perhaps gain the trait after that you just send them to a town that you desire to convert. This could help converting the population but thie works best in towns with a minimal number of christians. If the pop is pagan the unrest will grow.

For Conversion I just destroyed the temples, put in a full stack of high quality troops, and build the christain buildings. Works great, but if they revolt I just conquer the city and slaughter the populace, if there's anything left from the first conquest.
I’m big fan of late Roman era, and like IB Flagum dei very much.
I recently also downloaded this fun mod and started playing as WRE in 463 campaign. First campaign ended badly as I was locked into desperate struggle on all fronts, an eventually quitted the game.
My second try was far better. Sicily, Corsica and Sardinia were taken from Vandals, also Noricum and Dalmatia; I invaded Africa and captured Carthage and few other settlements. However my plans to reconquer these lands and close one front were disrupted by Franks who became major power, and threatened to overrun my Burgundian allies, as I knew I’m next on their list I committed my troops to help my ally.
Currently situation is hard, not so much because of the Frankish onslaught but because Goths declared ceasefire with them and attacked poor Burgundians. If they attack me also I will be forced to recall some legions from Africa to fill in the gaps.
This promises to be a long, bloody and uncertain campaign.
I'm having trouble uploading screenshots, and I'm going crazy, so here is the LINK to the picture. http://yfrog.com/n1wrep Sorry.

I don't think there was a thread in the IBRR forum so i'll post mine here.
What'd elected to do from the campaign was abandon all territory outside of Italy, aside from Carthage and Carthago Nova (two footholds for later on when I come to reconquering)
This strategy worked to an extent all of my Italian Possession are flourishing, I've reconquered parts of North Africa (meaning one city) and my military is incredibly powerful.
However my eastern frontier (yes I call it a frontier) is being assailed by huge stacks of Gothic ERE soldiers who seem to love giving my Auxilia and Cavalry Chevrons. I will eventually restore the entire Roman Empire and the challenge for me is certainly fun (playing Med-Med considering I thought I'd be dead in ten turns)
Some crazy Sassinid, Byzantine War going on there tbh....
Sure there are, we've just hidden it very well... Here's a link.
Interesting strategy, by they way...
