Do you feel, we're a little too hidden within links, and positioned a bit too close to the bottom? Would you like to move up in the main index?

Then read this proposal, and give your :thumbsup4 or , place your suggestions here. (We need to generate support here to convince Hex...)

    I like the idea!

    My idea

    1. PotW Forum

    2. AAR Forum

    3. Community Games
This would bring the AAR forums back to the main index where they should be, and share a common audeince with the PotW fellows and the Community gamers.
    Advantages:
    - increased popularity
    - easier to find
    - easier to access (AARs and Community Games would have thier own subforum)

PS thanks to Snuggans for bringing up the idea.

So basically an individual RPG Forum?

In that case I'd call it RPG's Forum or something. Community games sounds a bit, I don't know, soft. But anyway, if it gets through we can change the name later no?

You can, but it would be good to determine the name before the move.

OK. I support this fully PW. I would love to see an individual TW Games RPG forum next to the AARs forum in the main index before Empires release.

    As names, perhaps:

Total War (or TW) Role-Playing Games
    Total War Strategy Playing

I'll post a link to this in GSTK

It's funny, I was thinking of suggesting this just the other day

I pledge my full support to this proposal, but I doubt it will happen, as it was fairly difficult to get the independent AAR/RPG forum in the first place.

But anyway, I think it's a great idea, but someone needs to work on the title.

Sorry about that weird comment guys.

Jon had taken Donal and Benjen’s advice to heart: Sam may be fat and pathetic, but he is still a member of the watch, and one of the few black brothers who isn't a rapist or thief. (out of context, this sounds ridiculously racist)

Its a great idea, as the community games tend to get overlooked in favour of the AAR's.
Although this may disappoint some people, I am indeed alive, I just went inactive for three years.

I don't like the idea of separate AAR and RPG forums. I like the way the rpgers and AARists mix now, and separating them will remove this nice interplay.

Besides, just what the hell is wrong with the system now? What happened to, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." ?

Well, it hasn't to be completely broken to fix it. Making things look better and well organized is a good reason to think about it but the most imortant is to do something about it.

I don't think it will make much of a difference either way. It won't have a negative effect but it won't attract a lot of people either. The mudpit's below us and thats more populated, and we've still got links in the other subforums.

Guess i'll just Abstain from this one.

Actually, this is a valid point. :hmmm:

Add, that AARs and CGs share a common audience.

I have thought about this one, too, valid point.

I'm not too sure. I don't consider TFT to be a community game, but more of a multiplayer AAR. See the difference?
