I mean banners like captains are carrying in their own hands, I think they had it in the mod of Deus le Voult. Not the flags of the faction, wich is like over the heads of the army, but banners that captains can carry.

I think that the East Frankish Empire is bigger, but I am not sure. Also I agree with you on splitting it up, but what would you split it into?:hmmm:

Well, Scotland was more or less unified as a kingdom a bit earlier than England (officially in 843, that date is disputed but it was more or less done by 870 anyway) If you had to "split" them I would add either a Pictish rebel faction (the North and East were more culturally Pictish and might have violently resisted a Gaelicized monarch) or the Kingdom of Strathclyde to the immediate south (which could more or less be a clone of Wales)

Beautiful. I love the way all the units in this mod look so natural, so unforced. They look like real warriors, not units in a video game.

Just a crazy thought. Wouldn't it be cool if you could customize some of the taunting actions your troops make right before battle deployment? For the Scots, all I keep remembering is that scene from "Braveheart" when the Scottish line all raise their kilts and moon the English, ahahaha! Just a funny thought, not suggesting you'd even attempt to mod this.

Yah, in a perfect world where you could mod merely by thinking it, it would be an awesome touch I think. I'm sure you could think of some other stereotypical things for the other factions to do (ie. The Welsh signing, Irish drinking/praying, etc) Oh well.

I know that in ETW they're supposed to be including actual music units (drummers, fifers, hopefully bagpipers for the Scots/Great Britain) that can accompany your units on the battlefield to improve their morale I assume. Its too bad this feature wasn't already available in M2TW and for this mod since it would really neat to watch as your Viking army awaits to recieve a charge from the Scots being whipped up into a frenzy by the drone of the pipes!
