    Default ChivII: SV 3.2 Patch Released

    Patch 3.2: see post # 11 /hint added DV

    Changelog SV 3.1:

    - Added Norman Milites.
    - Added Norman Sergents
    - Added Norman Sergent Archers
    - Updated Siculo-Norman General/Captain battle model (Armed with Mace).
    - Added Upgrades for AOR levy units
    - Reskinned AOR Levy Units
    - Added "Monasteries" to maintain base religion in provinces.
    - Increased populations of Palermo, Baghdad, and Cordoba.
    - Adjusted unrest levels in Russian Steppe.
    - Adjusted Cyprus starting position in Late.
    - Adjusted Benevento Darkage starting situation.
    - Add square formation back to Phalanx units (pike).

    The following bugs have been corrected:
    - False Positive Virus report in launcher.
    - Mangonel Barrel projectile invisible.
    - Danish Darkage battle general/captain invisible.
    - No victory conditions for Moravia in DA campaign.
    - Faction selection screen says Europe 1080 A.D. across top.
    - Magyar Archers unlocalized in early/high era.
    - Inconsistent governor titles between eras (vernacular vs english).
    - Inconsistent province names between eras (vernacular vs english).
    - Permanent stone fort cost not updated.
    - Incorrect AOR hidden resources in Anatoilia.
    - Trick riding Anglo-Saxon captains/general.
    - Serb Darkage bodyguard Magnates, but should be Druzhina.
    - Fixed AS Trebuchet in campaign script.
    - Citadels not buildable.
    - Fixed inability to build Chuches in some areas.
    - Lowed Pirate spawn level.
    - Fixed new Sicilian Banners not showing up in battle mode.
    - Fixed CTD stopping darkage progression to later ages (DA playable all the way to the renaissance)

    seems compatible for my dark age sicilians, except where do you train the new Norman units? I have a citadel and fortress with every building but still can't train those new units you put in the patch notes.

    Great work! Saved games are working for me, so it is even greater.

    Good to see that ports are finally generating some income. It would be nice if roads will enhance trade/income too, because they need realistically 6 turns to build. Also, road tolls still do not generate income so it should also be changed in next patch.

    Toll roads shall increase the tax income, but it can be that you have to upgrade first other structures to take effect.

    awesome work man!

    I just got the Abassid Caliphate to sue for peace. Man that sucked. I was at war for 30+ turns. We only traded forts and had pitched battles, no seiges ever happened till turn 30 of the war. I couldn't afford to pull the troops off the line.

    Thankfully no one attacked my western themes, or I'd SOL. I finally got things stabalized and can start to build up the infrastructure.

    I did come out ahead but I was 50/50 for a long time there. I took Corfu and Antiokia, and since the Maygars were so happy to destroy the bulgarian empire I just added skopia ( they rebelled) and I have besieged Dyrrchion.


    Again, best wake and bake ever, I felt like I was the real thing for a minute.

    sounds like a great campaign....as DV mentioned, this was our aim

    So was the AI also building forts?

    Not in that area. They had two already but that's from the camp start. I took both forts in Cilicia and the AI advanced as far as Myra, taking the fort there along the way.

    They AI seriously had like 10 stacks and I had 2, I had to hold the passes to prevail. Slowly but surely I swapped out troops. Then I sacked Anitoikiea and that flushed the coffers with some badly needed cash.


    After that, a couple stacks rebelled, and thankfully a crusade was called. I got in a peace treaty after that.


    Just in time too, Venice betrayed me, allied with the Maygars, and then invaded.


    I annihilated the venetian fleets, they went for vassalage. The Maygars were harder, all of their troops are gold exp units and i take heavy losses.

    The peace only lasted until they Maygars took another gold xp stack and besiged the serbs, my allies.

    At least no war in the east!

    I think my next campaign will be as the darkage Byzantines

    It looks like the next step should be to start adding more forts to the campaigns.
