I'm going to give this a try now, sounds excellent. Hopefully the AI won't just spam skirmishers though. I'll let you know what I find. You have been rep'd for your effort.

Only dream I ever have. Is it the surface of the Sun?

can you edit it and try out 1.5x instead of 2x? i find 2x too hard to even do anything in the beginning
You look great today.
very well. thanks for your quick reply!

It's a pretty fun 'sub-mod' to be honest. It's made my campaign vastly more interesting - as Rome I can no longer spam legions all over the place and am really having a hard time doing anything. The Iberians have landed a few stacks in Africa to attack Saldae, whereas my only legion in the continent is fighting off a new Ptolemaic offensive. Meanwhile I have two legions in northern Italy fighting off the Gauls. It's not easy and I don't make enough money (about 15k a turn) to build a new legion.
Great fun though!

I read the 1.5c post, and from the looks of it they didnt change any of the export_descr_unit file, so it should be fine to use the file that you have...
BUT IN CASE IM WRONG.. BACK UP THE ORGINAL 1.5C FILE, AND THEN USE THIS. and if you have any problems revert to the old one.
Would this still work well with 1 turn Rec???
I'm not sure how much was changed in the 1.5c EDU. You'd have to compare the two using a program like ExamDiff. I don't think there were many, though.
I believe it should be 1.5c "compatible", but if changes were made to the EDU in 1.5c then you would lose those. The easiest thing to do would be to compare the EDU files for 1.5c and 1.5b and then add any changes from 1.5c into my files.
If somebody has the original 1.5c and 1.5b EDUs and uploads them I will take a look and make the changes to my EDU.
I love lots of units and lots of battles so I modified my game the oppisite of yours. I changed the units to 1/2 the recruitment costs and 1/2 the amount to maintain them for the AI. I also gave the AI units more experience so now the battles are alot tougher and I usually lose at least 50% of my attacking army. So I guess it's all in the game style you like to play.
savage, been playing it's a nice mod (on H/H), as rome i've no problem with building and have highest financial ranking, once you finish the war with phyrruss its a matter of consolidating and buliding up your economy to support enough troops
Great mod for RS, puts a challenge back into the game right from the start on many levels. I dont like the Idea of seeing to many armies fighting indicisive battles, I use it and I like it. Good one.
do i have to start new game for this sub mod to work ??
or it will affect any of my saved games ??
Any society that would give up a little liberty to gain a little security will deserve neither and lose both.
Disregard RTW2 - acquire Europa Barbarorum 2.

I believe it's best to start a new campaign, or there maybe issues. It should work, though. I tested the submod on RS 1.5c and there was no problem (with a new campaign). So there is no need to adapt this to RS 1.5c, it works just fine.
Hi, which file is the version 1.5c? Yours

will this work on RS 1.6?
