How do Recover my Cd Installation Key?

Hi i don't know if this is in the right forum if it is not i apologize. My question is i lost my cd key so that i may reinstall my MTW 2 game. H

ow do i recover it or find it? I looked all over the net but all i find is software that only allows me to find the cd keys only on games that are already installed on my hard drive which doesn't help me any.

Please can anyone suggest a solution to this problem. Will rep anyone who can help. I'd hate to have to buy the game all over again just because i don't have the install cd key. Thanks in advance. Regards Warmachine....

OK Ive had the same problem and asked sega how to get it back... Um its actually on their support center, but anyways YOu take a picture of the game and the reciept(if you have it) and the box with the game and manuals out, and send i to them with like ten bucks, For a new CD key code... HERESY!

I wish that it was that easy as you say but unfortunenatly mines is not printed on the game box or on the booklet but it was printed on a blank flash card looking thing.Trust me i looked for it every where. So i guess i am just going to have to buy the whole game brand new.Which totally sucks donkey balls.

When the game was first released, it was in the dvd case right above the dvds. I got mine to prove it. If you don't have the case, to the store you go.

The booklet is not a part of the box; the booklet comes out of the box, so you can read it. I let my roommate install the game on his computer, and he lost the book, yet I still have the box. I know, I know, I shouldn't have let him install it, but I did and now I'm out one booklet and a CD Key. What do you propose now that I have lost that which could not be lost?

If you have the game registered with Sega in your name you might convince them to give a new one. If not, get the game back from your friend or buy a new copy.

So, I've still got both Discs for M2TW Gold and the original packaging. How would I register the game with SEGA anyhow?

do you still have the receipt even if it's an electronis one?
The only answer I can give you wheter you do or not is contact www.sega.com/support and explain it to them. You just might end up buying a new copy because of your friend.

Is n't ther some code on your dvd as well .
Couldn't you tell sega the code ?
Else if nothing helps i am afraid you have to buy a new one.

If it is on there it is built into the Securom encryption that only Sega has the key. That's how they probably make sure they match.

i have a cd key but mtw2 wont let me go on line .
i have fallowed the instructions above in case maybe id entered the cd ket incorrectly but its fine.
how can i fix this problem any help would be great .

The culprit ---> allusers = 0

The above setting (in the preference file) will cause the invalid key error.
Should be allusers = 1

I hope this helps anyone that has suffered persistently with this.

I've only got the box, though it does have the price stickers on it, as well a UPS box. I'll try the SEGA site. Finally, I wouldn't call someone a friend who would lose the second most important part of installing the game; I'd call him an a s s h o l e.
