She thinks she has insight on foreign policy with Russia because she can see Russia from her window? She clearly doesn't read newspapers as she couldn't name a single one she reads, doesn't even have a clue about Bush's foreign policies as seen in her inability to answer the question on the Bush doctrine. She has no clue about the economy and just babbles incoherently spewing out random words and catchphrases related with economic issues that assembled together make no sense in a sentence, as parodied hilariously by SNL. (which actually used Palins quote verbatim )

She makes Bush seem like Aristotle. And this dumb as a rock wench is going to come back in 4 years and become president?

Not knowing that Africa is a continent is pure ignorance. Ignorance = poor education. Its going to take a long time for her image to recover from this election. I doubt she will have such a colourful political future as many of her supporters hope.

Knowledge is a generally good attribute to have if you are in political office. If you have a leader that cant tell continents from countries then it doesnt do your own country's image any favours

Exactly, Obamas, McCains and hell, to be completley fair even most of George Bushs 'gaffes' come from misreading the teleprompter, simply mis-speaking, getting befuddled during a latenight rally etc etc. Palins mistakes and gaffes come from a systematic ignorance and uneducated stupidity that is a big difference.

there was never such a thing in the media, as it is completely impossible. we are humans, and are prone to always throwing our views/perspective in there, no matter how much we try to be completely objective.

what the media needs to be is not objective, but fair.

Sorry but if true not knowing Africa is a continent or the countries in the North American Free Trade Agreement is indeed ignorant when one is a politician. Of course there is possibility someone is just looking to push blame off for Mccain failures on someone and Palin is a handy excuse (funny how Fox becomes truthful when it suits people views) but I doubt that is the case.
