    Default core building change

Is it possible for me to change the core buildings for settlements? That is instead of walls being tied to upgrades, can it be another building, such as a town hall or something and have the walls just be walls? My main purpose is that I would like to be able to tear down walls or even castles of settlements that I sack.

Well, it looks like it should be possible, but there may be some sort of hardcoded thing - particularly in the area of strat models.

    Edit: forget what I said
you will see that walls have this in their export_descr_buildings entry:
    Code:
    convert_to core_building
levels motte_and_bailey wooden_castle castle fortress citadel
My guess is that the 'core_building' has something to do with it

But I doubt it's this easy

It's possible to link the settlement level to another building; I once did this by making the Town Halls the core buildings and walls a seperate building. However the strat and battle models are unaffected eg a Large City with only wooden walls will look like a Large City on the strat and battle map (trying to seperate the walls and settlement leads to a crash).

I guess this would be the problem then.
