Hello to all fans of MTW and Kingdoms! This topic is about The Golden Century - our modification for MTW-2: Kingdoms, whicn main features are the role of Teutonic Order, historic accuracy and Mongol Invasion.
We decided to choose XIII century as the main historical period of our mod because of several reasons. Firstly, this is the highest point of political, military and economic development in medieval Europe. Then, XIII century provides a lot of possibilites for realisation of main idea of our mod - maximum historical accuracy. And thrid reason is quite simple: XIII century is an peak of influence for many religious orders which was a serious military and political power all over the Europe. This is also one of basic features of mod - focusing on several most powerful orders -and, first of all, of course, Teutonic Order.
